Kihachi Ramen opens (Oct 21, 2026)

Maneki Shokuhin, the Himeji company behind the station's famous ekisoba noodles, has turned its Ekisoba Otemae shop on Otemae-dori into a ramen shop, Kihachi Ramen, which opened on October 21, 2026. There are three ramen: pork-bone ramen with braised chashu, shrimp soba and tantanmen. Open 11:00–21:00 every day except New Year's Day.
