Bosogo, a Kyrgyz restaurant, opened on Rokko Island on September 11, 2026. It is the directly run restaurant of honey brand Arienta, which operated the official shop of the Kyrgyzstan pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai as Kyrgyz Expo Bazaar, and is the first Kyrgyz restaurant on Honshu. The name is Kyrgyz for the doorway of a yurt. Find it on the second floor of Rokko Island Konan Hospital, two minutes on foot from Island Center Station on the Rokko Liner. The opening menu, through September 21, offers Set A plov (Kyrgyz rice pilaf) at 1,690 yen and Set B chuchvara (dumpling soup) at 1,790 yen, each with shorpo soup and salad or bread and salad; ordering a set takes 150 yen off a drink. A la carte: samsa (lamb or chicken) and the Bosogo salad. The signature drink is a sea-buckthorn and Kyrgyz honey soda. Open 11:00–22:00, closed Mondays. Reservations by phone: 080-2590-5819.
