Why You Should Visit

A one-day Halloween event on the plaza in front of the D51 steam locomotive preserved outside JR Kobe Station. There is a Halloween mystery walk around the station area with five riddles and a prize draw, a garland-making activity to decorate the D51, a costume photo session in front of the locomotive with a professional photographer, and railway activities such as a can-catcher game and a level-crossing simulator. A lawn is laid on the plaza from 10:00 so you can relax before the event starts. Part of a City of Kobe pilot for the future station square; free to join and well suited to families in costume.
