SOU, an atelier for small, reservation-only workshops in Takatsukasa, Takarazuka, held its grand opening on October 10, 2026 after a pre-opening in August. The name combines three readings of 'sou': thinking of yourself, staying close to yourself, and creating yourself. The opening program was an early-morning autumn journaling session (8:00–10:00, four people per session, ¥3,500 including a seasonal breakfast plate and a drink), and in September it hosted a talk on coffee books by Shun Ogihara of WAKO COFFEE. Opening days are irregular and posted monthly on Instagram. Workshop bookings go through the online store of TOBERA, the coffee and cheesecake shop at the same address.
