The thatched roof of Shimotanikami Stage — a nationally designated important tangible folk cultural property built in 1840 — has been beautifully restored for the first time in 20 years. A commemorative ceremony will be held featuring a taiko drum performance by Kobe Suzurandai High School, followed by the 26th Kobe Kita-ku Rural Kabuki Performance.
