Why You Should Visit

An annual community festival set across the Lawn Plaza of Woody Town Community Center in Sanda and the surrounding streets, which are closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian zone for the day, bringing together more than 100 shops. The grounds are divided into themed areas — Coffee, Festival Games, Master Artisans, Crafts, Good Eats and Hands-on Experiences — so you can wander at an easy pace, discovering handmade goods and creators' works, joining workshops designed for children and adults alike, and sampling food trucks that serve everything from pizza to fried chicken. The lawn also hosts 'Sanda Coffee Fest. EXTRA 2026' on the same day, gathering roasteries from across Hyogo, so a stroll with a coffee in hand fits right in. Whether you are after a relaxed family outing or hunting for a one-of-a-kind find, it makes for an easy, welcoming day out.

NOTE
【Themed areas】
The venue is organized into six themes: Coffee, Festival Games, Master Artisans, Crafts, Good Eats and Hands-on Experiences. In the Good Eats area, a street is closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian zone where food trucks and food booths line up, so deciding between pizza, fried chicken, steak, bread and more becomes part of the fun. The Crafts and Hands-on Experiences areas offer workshops for adults and children alike, while the Festival Games area is a place for the whole family to play freely.

【Shops】
More than 100 shops take part, including plenty of handmade goods and creators' works. This year, shops will also be set up inside the community center, and the lawn hosts Sanda Coffee Fest. EXTRA 2026 on the same day.

【Good to know】
The booklet flyer also has a quiz, and taking part can win you a gift. Bins are set up around the venue, so use those for any rubbish rather than the bins of nearby shops and facilities. The event runs in light rain but is called off in severe weather.
