Why You Should Visit
The NEO Heisei Retro Exhibition, which drew over 30,000 visitors in Shibuya, Tokyo, comes to Kobe. Nine themed zones are packed with over 300 nostalgic items from the Heisei era — feature-phones and pagers, a recreated Heisei bedroom, and a deep dive into gyaru fashion and trend magazines. Whether you lived through the Heisei era or are discovering it for the first time, this exhibition brings the 'not-so-distant past' to life. Supervised by Mero Yamashita, advocate and researcher of Heisei retro culture.

【Tickets】Various Daimaru/Matsuzakaya card member discounts are excluded for this exhibition. Junior/senior high students must show student ID. When and where is the NEO Heisei Retro Exhibition?
The exhibition runs from Wednesday April 29 to Monday May 18, 2026, at the Daimaru Museum on the 9th floor of Daimaru Kobe. Hours are 10:00–18:30 (closes 19:00); the final day ends at 16:30 (closes 17:00).
How much is admission?
Adults and university students ¥700, junior/senior high students ¥500, elementary school and under free (guardian required). Note that member card discounts are not applicable for this exhibition.
Can I browse the goods without buying a ticket?
