A shochu event gathering 34 breweries at KIITO Kobe—from across Kyushu including Kagoshima, Miyazaki and Oita, to Iki in Nagasaki, Okinawan awamori and island shochu from Tokyo. Compare shochu made from sweet potato, barley, rice and brown sugar, each with its own character, while talking with the brewers themselves. The ¥4,000 admission covers tasting of every shochu on site, and popular Kobe restaurants serve food on a cash-on basis, making it a day to find the perfect pairing.
