Why You Should Visit
A community festival at Sumiyoshi Park Ground as part of the Kobe Festival. The opening ceremony features sake barrel breaking and traditional sake brewing songs, followed by a full day of performances including dance, taiko drumming, hula, and yosakoi until around 17:00.
Featuring 44 booths including hotel curry from Kobe Bay Sheraton and Hotel Plaza Kobe, craft beer, wagyu beef burgers, and Awajiya bento. Local companies Kewpie, Toyo Nuts, and Maruyanagi also have booths.
Special activities include the Higashinada karuta stamp rally, a bouncy dome (¥500), children's tennis lessons for elementary school students (11:00 and 13:30), and a prize lottery sponsored by local businesses.
