Atsumori Zakura 2026

Sumaura Park West Area & Sumaura Sanjo Amusement Park

The 12th edition of Sumaura Park's cherry blossom event, offering both daytime seaside blossoms and one of the Kansai region's largest night illumination shows. New this year: lantern ceiling with cherry projection mapping, a light waterfall 'Niagara Wall,' and the crescent moon photo spot 'Moonlight Chair.' Food trucks and special menus from SUMA Terrace also available. Free admission.

Bubblumi DJ Night — One-Night-Only Bayside Club

For one night only, the illuminated land art of KOBE BUBBLUMI 2026 transforms into a bayside DJ night. Enjoy drinks and dancing to a soundtrack inspired by Japan's Showa and Heisei bubble eras. It is a chance to experience TOTTEI in a different mood while official Bubblumi merchandise is also on sale.

21st Hamafukutsuru Ginjo Kobo Kura-Biraki Sake Festival

Hamafukutsuru Ginjo Kobo in Uozaki, Kobe holds its annual kura-biraki (sake brewery open day). Free admission. Highlights include complimentary sake (30th anniversary commemorative sake and kagami-biraki barrel), a paid tasting corner, and a big lottery. The limited-edition '2026 Shinmai Shinshu 30th Anniversary Sake' (¥2,500 / 720ml) will be on sale. A rakugo comedy show (from 12:00) and a live performance by the Nada Sake Brewing Song Preservation Society add cultural flavor. Local Kobe food stalls (tofu, Kanetsu chikuwa, and more) round out the day.

LIGHTDANCe (Light Dance) | Art Drone Show, Kansai Premiere

Offshore TOTTEI

Above the waters where KOBE BUBBLUMI 2026 is displayed, Shinko-cho's first drone show, 'LIGHTDANCe presented by AGEHARIDe,' will take place. Built around the idea of elevating drone shows into an art form through the fusion of music and light, 300 LED drones will create three-dimensional aerial art. This edition flies to AAA's 'Charge & Go!'.

Bakuen HYOGO, a food festival specializing in Hyogo craft beer and local gourmet, celebrates its 3rd edition. 21 breweries and 80+ craft beers, plus a special sake collaboration series 'Ishu Dougen – Nihonshu no Baai'. Free entry with optional advance tickets.

Kobe Agri Park: Nemophila Hill 2026

Kobe Agri Park

Around one million nemophila flowers blanket a hillside in Kobe, creating a breathtaking sea of blue that seems to merge with the sky. During the event period, visitors can also enjoy barbecue, a buffet, a street piano set among the blooms, and various set plans combining admission with dining or pottery experiences.

Kobe Port Weekend Fireworks – Apr 18, 2026 | A Spring Night Show by the Harbor

Meriken Park

A small weekend fireworks event lighting up Kobe's night sky. Fireworks bloom for about five minutes over the sea near Meriken Park and other waterfront spots, accompanied by music. Enjoy the harbor lights blending with fireworks in the pleasant sea breeze. Nearby cafes and restaurants offer drinks and takeout menus to enjoy while watching the show.

Acoustic Festival 2026

Multiple live music venues in central Kobe (11 venues)

Hosted by Kiss FM KOBE, the Acoustic Festival will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, across central Kobe. Under the concept “Meet the city, meet the people, meet the music,” around 60 artists—from solo performers to bands, major and indie alike—will perform across 11 venues, including newly added locations such as Kobe Kitano Nosta Stella Hall and Ageha Base.

A fisherman's market starring the local fishermen of Komagabayashi, Kobe. Buy fresh fish directly from the people who caught them, enjoy fish dishes made by fishermen and local restaurants, and listen to live brass band music.
